Ok! I'm done!
For the last few weeks i've been waiting for the lawyers to make me some contracts. I'm also waiting for the answer of some co-designers, they could help me with my designs.
And today ... i'm still waiting.
So i'm done, done waiting. Gathering ideas for game concepts starts today!

the boi index
Making a good concept can take some serious time. So you take some ideas and start working on them. When your concept is ready, you run it through all de BOS tools noticing that your idea or concept is not ment for the blue ocean.
So my main question is:
Is there a test that calculates the success of your idea?
When do publishers think a concept has a chance on the market? How do they come to that conclusion?
I don't know how publisher do it, but i think i know how we can do it for ourselves.

Et voilà. There you have it.
The BOI test is a nice test to ensure the commercial success, but it doesn't tells us much about the product itself. Utility, cost and adoption is more oriented towards your business.

BOC, BOP or bof
Blue ocean concept, blue ocean creation, blue ocean product or blue ocean formulation. Name it whatever you want.
It's actually easy to build another test with the remaining BOS tools.

The point
The point of these tests is to check whether your idea has potential. Don't spend days working on a concept or doing market research. Just do a quick check. If your idea seems to have potential, then proceed with a deeper investigation.
